Harry S Truman & Upper Dublin were winners in SOL boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Mert Yildirim connected for a hat trick, and Auyuob Fask added two goals and two assists to lead the Tigers, who raced out of the gate to a 5-0 halftime lead. Adam Fask contributed a goal and an assist. Nnambi Ofoegbu contributed one goal.

“Wendell Matthew was solid in the midfield,” coach Matt Terry said.

Timmy Tran recorded a clean sheet in goal.

Harry S Truman (5-7-2, 0-7-2 SOL) will travel to Bensalem on Thursday.

UPPER DUBLIN 1, UPPER MORELAND 0 (Resumed game)

In the continuation of a game that was halted because of a downpour less than two minutes into the second half, the Flying Cardinals broke a scoreless tie when Anna Desch found Karolina Bocul in the box for a goal that turned out to be the game-winner. The two teams played 37 minutes and 57 seconds on Tuesday.

“A great team effort today was rewarded with a W,” UD coach Chuck Gesing said.

Rachel Adelman earned the clean sheet in goal.

Upper Dublin (6-7-1, 6-4-1 SOL) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh on Thursday, and Upper Moreland (4-10-1, 3-8-1) will host Springfield on Thursday.
