Sophomore Erin Smith exploded for 3 goals on heads up plays in front of the goal. We have been working on quick release shots in the circle, and Erin did a beautiful job tonight. To round out the scoring, captain Anna Gillard converted a feed from sophomore Anna Shirley into a lifted goal over the entire defense.

We were excited to get Sophia Wasyliw back on the field after an ankle injury and she made an immediate impact with her speed and stick work. While the entire team played well against a very fast and skilled WC Rustin, juniors Braylee Webb and Alyssa Endrick created a lot of scoring opportunities while sophomores Anna Shirley, Grace Haag, and Sarah Cooper anchored the defense. Seniors Maddy Cooper, Anna Gillard, Maddie Pearce and GK Jillian Heilig should be proud that they led a young and inexperienced team into the second round of the playoffs. Congrats!
