We are certainly happy to get the win tonight and start the season 2-0, but disappointed with the way we played.

We didn’t come out with the same energy from last night and struggled to find any rhythm offensively.  We just never seemed to get anything going the first half.  Luckily Conwell Egan didn’t get much going either.  The second half we were able to utilize some full court pressure and force some turnovers, which gave us the lift we needed to get our offense going.  I thought we showed more patience the second half with better ball movement and looked to be more aggressive.  We were finally able to extend the game to 10, but for the second night in a row we allowed the other team back in the game with poor foul shooting, timely turnovers and a few missed box outs.  Even with that being said, I’m still proud of our girls for grinding it out and finding a way to get the win despite not playing our best.
