It was a slow start for both teams.  There didn’t seem to be much of any rhythm.  Unfortunately for us the second quarter it didn’t get any better.  We struggled to get quality looks, and the open shots we got we didn’t make.  On top of that we were battling foul trouble, which created some tough matchups.  We had some turnovers which lead to easy baskets in transition and just never seemed to recover.  Even in the second half when we made a little run we couldn’t string together enough stops to change the momentum.

I give a lot of credit to Pennridge.  They are a tough team with some talented players.  They play hard and Mike does a great job with them.  We have had so many close games with them the last three years so I’m disappointed that we weren’t able to be competitive tonight.  Every night the games get tougher and tougher.  Hopefully, our girls can learn from tonight and we can get back to work tomorrow and start getting ready for league play.
