Any time we play West, we know it is going to be a very tough , physical game and it was just that. West took the lead about 15 minutes into the second half and after making some adjustments in formation to attack more we were able to score a tying goal with Camryn Williams's second of the year with less than ten left. With less than 5 left in the second overtime, West was able to score a great goal from Taylor Moyer to finish. I give West credit, they are very tough , fit, and defensively organized and it showed. Our girls played their hearts out and its tough to swallow the result, but took some major positives from the game. Our backline played excellently - I thought a really great game from Meredith Black. Going forward, Chloe Strawn, Elise Duffy, Liv Portner, and Katie Volans created some good chances for us deep through this game. I am really proud of our girls and honestly just to be a part of this game.
