A 5 o’clock start night game for the lions on Springfield’s turf field. NHS won 4-0. Ciara Maguire(junior) scored the games first goal On a pass from Nicole Wilson close in the box. The next two came from Nicole Wilson herself on brilliant slanted runs behind the defense and slotted the keeper twice. Both passes came from Rylie Hepp. The game leveled out anD Springfield created some chances Late in the first half and early in the second. However Margaret Tresler (soph) recorded her second shutout and kept the sheet clean. Late in the second half Abby Vickner played a beautiful through ball to Riley Marschall ( soph) Who took and brilliant touch towards the goalie and it ended up deflecting to Nicole Michael (soph) who struck the ball well passed the keeper. 4-0 lions. Kendall Malmrose, Sofia farina and Tess Murray had outstanding games for the lions.
