On Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, Upper Dublin senior Jenn McCarry was recognized for committing to continue her lacrosse career at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Reasons for choosing UMass Lowell: “Experienced coaching staff, campus atmosphere, fun team, and great learning environment.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I knew since sixth grade that I wanted to play in college. The recruiting process started for me at the beginning of sophomore year.”
Coach Dee Cross says: “From the first time I met her as a freshman, she would always say, ‘Whatever you need, coach.’ ‘What can I do coach?’ Every coach needs a Jenn McCarry on their team. She is absolutely a team player, always has been, and she has played every position on the field that we’ve asked her to play. It’s really exciting for me to see her develop into a player who is able to go to a Division 1 school and play because I know that was her dream, and she absolutely worked really hard to get there.”
