An old golf adage states, "There are no pictures on a scorecard." After witnessesing today's 214-230 win by Abington over William Tennent, we can all be thankful that pictures won't record this day for posterity. Ben Cooley's 36 on Huntingdon Valley's Centennial Nine (par 35) was the only number of the day that one would consider asthetically pleasing. Rich Thorpe (42), Kris Carr (44), Mike Murphy (46), and Jake Shur (46) all recorded rounds that left them befuddled. Nevertheless, the win improves the team's record to 11-1 on the season and 8-1 in the SOL National Conference. The team will need to clean and refocus their lenses if they hope to contend for the league title as the season enters the homestrech next week.
