Game summary notes:
In a game that was scoreless for the first 2 halfs, the game looked
to have been 13-0 on all of PW's opportunities, but Cheltenham goalie
Jay Mee Stepp stepped up to face 55 scoring chances with 54
unsuccessful. With 1:03 remaining in the 2nd OT and in the game, PW
Senior Erin Bieler got a feed from Jess Knudsen with the goalie out of
the way and scored the header for a thrilling PW victory. Plymouth
Whitemarsh television network, Colonial Instructional Television, even
broadcasted this thriller. Allie Melson preserved the shutout at goal
for the host Lady Colonials.
