2019 record:  11-3 SOL; 16-9 Overall. Suburban One American Conference Champions; Lost in Semi-Finals of District One Playoffs; 3^rd Seed from District One in PIAA 6A State Playoffs- Defeated Liberty HS in opening round.

Outlook:
“2018 was an important season for us, as we returned to the PIAA District One Playoffs after a three-year absence. In 2019, we took even bigger steps, winning the Suburban One American Conference, advancing to the District One Semifinals, and winning our first state playoff game in 25 years. Hopes for 2020 were high, as a core of veteran players made up a strong senior class that was ready to defend their league title. Unfortunately, the 2020 team will forever remain a mystery.

“As we turn the page, as it is for many teams, 2021 will be an opportunity for a lot of players without a ton of varsity experience to compete for starting positions and playing time. Our infield defense plays with a high level of ability and confidence, and is anchored by two of our only players to appear on the varsity roster in 2019. On the mound, we have a lot of intriguing power arms and hope to see our rotation come into form in the season’s early weeks.

“First team all-league shortstop Joe Jaconski (SS), has assumed the role of captain for the 2021 season and will lead a group of players that works hard, expects a lot from one another, and is eager to keep the team playing at the level we reached two seasons ago.

“Our goal as a program is always to compete for a conference title and advance to the postseason. But, building from previous seasons has certainly led to high expectations within and from the outside. These expectations, along with a ton of talent across the American Conference and new opponents due to league realignment, will pose some definite challenges to us returning to where we left off.”
