Outlook:  This is a young team with plenty of up-and-coming talent.  They will benefit tremendously from our three returning seniors who will undoubtedly be excellent role models for them and show them how to be good stewards of the game.
Being young will mean a learning curve with some hiccups along the way.  Even so, with a strong senior nucleus and young talent, I do believe this team will have their share of success this season with the stated goal of building upon our 2019 season, which found us in the playoffs.
They need to believe in themselves and know they can win.  We talk a lot about being aggressive and making things happen, get ahead and stay ahead.
With seniors Mackenzie Clee and Meg Curtis in the circle we have a great lefty/righty combination that the whole team can rally behind.  And then there’s freshman Katie Laplaunt knocking at the door.  Won’t be long till the rest of the league knows her name. “
