Central Bucks East 7, Central Bucks South 6, OT
Nicholas Knepp scored in overtime as Central Bucks East pulled out a 7-6 thriller in Monday’s battle between both neighborhood rivals and two of the National Conference frontrunners.
The Patriots trailed 3-1 after the first quarter and were down 5-4 heading into the fourth, but two goals from Joey Stella in less than a minute gave the Patriots their first lead of the game. But South’s Emilio Aguilar knotted the score at 6-6 just 96 seconds later to force the extra frame.
Stella also scored the Patriots’ lone goal of the first quarter and finished the game with three goals, one assist, and two caused turnovers. Jonah Osborne had one goal and two caused turnovers, Chris Funston chipped in with one goal and one caused turnover, Shane McEntire added one goal, and Michael Skulsky had one assist.
Ryan Kueny made eight saves to record the win in the cage for the Patriots. Evan Bullotta had two ground balls and two caused turnovers, Quinn Collins registered two caused turnovers, Dean Blackwell had one ground ball and one caused turnover, and Ryan McCauley scooped up two ground balls.
Logan Dunn led the Titans with two goals. Evan Jacobsen had one goal and one assist, Liam Brittin and Emilio Aguilar each scored one, and Chris Moore scored one while winning 8 of 14 draws. He also was credited with eight ground balls. Cole Cenci had one assist, and Gavin Ostroff made 10 saves in net for South.
With the win, the Patriots (6-0 National, 7-2 overall) remain atop the standings and return to action at 3:30 pm on Friday when they host Pennsbury. South (4-2, 5-3) moves into a four-way tie for second place in the conference. The Falcons will visit Springfield-Montco for a nonleague matchup at 3:30 pm Thursday.

Hatboro-Horsham 14, William Tennent 2
Min Lee scored five goals and assisted on another, and David Benjamin dominated the face-off X, winning 13 of 14 face-offs, to lead the Hatters to the decisive win. Benjamin also was credited with three ground balls.
Sam Fink added a hat trick while Alex Cerminara had one goal and three assists, Tyler Kim added one goal and two assists, and Dom Tarsi had a goal and an assist. Adding one goal each were Justin Focht, Nate Phillips and Jaden Mariano. Gabe Reavis had three ground balls.
Hatboro-Horsham (3-6, 3-2 SOL) will host Wissahickon on Tuesday, and William Tennent (0-6) will travel to Cheltenham on Friday.
NON-LEAGUE
Souderton 17, Quakertown 1
Jamison McDivitt contributed on nine Souderton goals as the Indians cruised to a 17-1 victory.
McDivitt had four goals and five assists, while John Martin Vince scored five goals as Souderton led 10-0 at halftime. Tanner Yerton scored two for Souderton, Seth Grossman, Tyson Bui, and Kobi Bui each had one goal and two assists, Luke Wawrzynek had one goal and one assist, and Josh Trout and Gavin Landis each had a goal.
Souderton improves to 7-4 overall (3-4 National) and it back in action today at North Penn at 3:30 pm. Quakertown drops to 1-9 overall (0-5 American) and will visit New Hope-Solebury for a league matchup at 5 pm Thursday.

Neshaminy 14, Archbishop Ryan 5
Ten different players chipped in with goals as Neshaminy jumped out to an 8-0 lead after one quarter and rolled to a 14-5 victory over Archbishop Ryan.
Ayden Demi led the way with three goals, Liam Moss and Lucas Maher each had two goals and one assist, and Ethan Roscoe, Liam Ames, Stephen Day, Logan Backhaus, Jared Edmister, and
Jack McVey each scored one goal. Freshman Cory Hemberger had a solid effort on draws and also added one goal. Patrick Courtney registered two assists while Ethan Roney earned one assist.
“Freshman Cory Hemberger was efficient at the faceoff X,” Neshaminy coach John Donato said.
Neshaminy improves to 3-10 overall (1-7 National Conference) and will host Pennridge today at 3:30 in a National Conference matchup.
New Hope-Solebury 19, Harry S Truman 5
Kyle McLaughlin scored seven goals and Nate Donohoe added five to lead the visiting Lions to the no-doubt-about-it non-league win.
Franklin Phillips was credited with eight ground balls.
Ryan Riggione and James Dougherty were dominant on face-offs, combing for 23 face-offs won.
The visiting Lions, who led 4-0 after one quarter, took an 8-3 lead into halftime and then outscored the Lions 11-2 in the second half.
New Hope-Solebury (3-7, 1-6 SOL) will host Upper Moreland on Tuesday, and Harry S Truman (1-8, 0-5) will travel to Central Bucks West on Tuesday.
