What was the progression that led you to competing in basketball at the collegiate level? “My AAU coach in junior year set up team profiles on Field Level, and my college coach reached out to me through the app. At first, I didn’t think I wanted to play in college, but after one meeting and a campus visit, I knew CCC was the place for me.”
Coach Morgan Funston says: “Rachel Bilger has been a four-year member of our program. She is a three-sport athlete who loves to compete and still finds time to work on her basketball game year round. She has always wanted to play at the next level and has a great opportunity at Cedar Crest. Rachel epitomizes what it means to be a great teammate and has always put the team before herself. Her maturity, leadership, and on-court performance helped the team to have a successful season. Rachel is destined for great things in the future.”
