On Monday, May 17, 2021, Central Bucks West seniors Connor Albrecht & Cole Graeff were recognized for committing to continue their lacrosse careers at the collegiate level.
Connor Albrecht – Stockton University (Lacrosse)
Major: Business
Final list of colleges: Stockton, Tampa, DeSales, Ursinus
Reasons for choosing Stockton: “Mainly, the environment. I felt so welcome, especially by the coach, and I have childhood friends that play on the team, so playing with them again will be awesome.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “The assistant coach at South (Chris Jacobsen) got me into it before kindergarten, so I’ve been playing for 13 years. Ever since, I’ve always wanted to play in college.”
Coach Matt Coverdale says: “Connor Albrecht is a four-year letter winner, and he was a key contributor to our championship run in 2019 as a starter when he was a sophomore. He returned for his senior year after the unfortunate loss of last season. He stepped in and was voted a leader – a senior captain for the team in 2021. He has a great balanced game of goals and assists, and he’s gifted with a great lacrosse IQ and ability to see the field. That’s demonstrated by his ability to finish. He scored a couple of game-winners this season and also had an even number of assists and goals. He’s a tough athlete, a tough competitor.”

Reasons for choosing Del Val: “I get to stay close to home, and I have some tremendous opportunities academically and athletically.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “It’s what I love to do, and I always thought this is what I’m going to do”
Coach Matt Coverdale says: “Cole Graeff was a senior midfielder for us. He has big, long strides and moves swiftly through the midfield. He has a dynamite shot with his sidearm. He’s a gritty player who will get his nose dirty and dig in for ground balls. He’s a strong member of the senior class. We’re proud of both of these boys and their choices to play at the next level and continue to make our program proud at Del Val and at Stockton University.”
