Chris Colella – Rochester Institute of Technology (Baseball)
Coach Lucas Denczi says: “If I could describe Chris’s game in a few words, it would be all around. He provided consistency in the field and at the plate for us this season. Hitting over .300, scoring 13 runs, and working a team-leading eight walks, he was one of our offensive sparks. Everyone on the team looked to Chris to set the tone for the game. As a team leader this year, he did both at the plate and in the field.”
DJ Dickson – The University of Virginia’s College at Wise (Baseball)
Coach Lucas Denczi says: “DJ led by example all year, both on and off the field. He was fantastic as a leader, and it was nice to know as a coaching staff, we could rely on him to set the example. He finished the season with 28 innings pitched, struck out 40 batters, and had a team-leading 2.22 ERA. He ended his season with a .392 average at the plate, hitting safely in 20 of his 57 plate appearances. Whenever he came to the plate, I could count on DJ to make solid contact and provide some offense to get the team going.”
Mike Scheller – Ursinus College (Baseball)
Coach Lucas Denczi says: “Mike was the type of player all coaches look for. He was willing to play any position we asked of him and always did it with a smile on his face, giving 100 percent effort. Whether it was a third, first, center field, or on the mound, he always seems to make the big play or pitch the team out of trouble to give us momentum.
Mike Soltis – Bucks County Community College (Baseball)
Coach Lucas Denczi says: “Mike was by far one of our most competitive guys on the team. Every time he took the mound, I could count on him giving us a complete effort. Battling through some early season challenges, he rose to the occasion several times, providing solid efforts both as a starter and in relief. His commitment to the team and constantly improving his game is one I admire, and I hope was instilled in a few of our younger guys.”
