William Tennent’s Nick Iadonisi was recognized for committing to continue his track career at Ursinus College.
Coach Vinnie Murphy says: “Nick Iadonisi is a one-of-a-kind student athlete. He works harder than anyone, takes care of himself, looks out for his teammates and gets better every single day. His most impressive trait though is his perseverance. Nick pushed through major injury obstacles in his 10th and 11th grade year where he wasn't able to run for weeks at a time. He dedicated himself to cross training, physical therapy, and hours of weight training to make sure those injuries would stay in the past. Through all of that, his habits developed him into the model athlete. Nick's performances during this past season speak for themselves, and he was a major reason why Tennent went undefeated and won its first league title in over a decade. Nick will be truly missed on the track next year, but the impact on his younger teammates will last a long time. I am so proud of everything he has accomplished and cannot wait to see what he does in an Ursinus uniform. Go Bears!”
