On Friday, April 30, 2021, Souderton senior Aidan Wunderly was recognized for committing to continue his volleyball career at Alvernia University.

Favorite high school sports memory: “Beating CB East this year for the first time in four years”
Coach Luke Pinto says: “Aidan was our captain and he played right side. He was our go-to guy on the court. He was a phenomenal player, but he was a better person, helping freshmen, helping the underclassmen become hard workers and learn the game and basically just create a team environment. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to come in as I started my coaching career at the high school level than someone like him. It was incredible, and I am going to miss him a ton going forward just because he was one of the best kids I’ve been around. He’s one of the most genuine kids that was competitive and wanted to win but also showed extreme grace and sportsmanship. I am very proud that Aidan is someone I got to coach.”
