Today was a total team effort. We were able to play some girls who don't see much playing time and there were able to make contributions to the win. Emma Brown did a nice job on defense and Skylar Beal came off the bench to score two goals for us. We had a slow start but settled in after half time where we were able to score 4 goals in the third quarter. Cheltenham has really improved and nice moments when they were able to get by our midfield to make a run at our circle. Tara Hughes, Devan DiMaria and Kyra Malanowski did a nice job stopping their momentum and getting the ball back to our midfield. We have a well deserved break tomorrow before we head into a game Thursday and Friday.
