With less than 24 hours for recovery from last night, we could see in our legs, and our play that we were feeling not only last night, but also the last few weeks. This game is demanding on it's players, and the way our season is set up to have 18 games in about 6-7 weeks is a grind, with very little built in recovery time.

Tennent's defense did a good job in stifling our offensive build-up--Bill Hontz is a great coach, and you can tell in his preparation for today's match.

We went down one in the 29th minute. There was some miscommunication, and that allowed Tennent to put one in. We strung together some strong combinations, and were given some opportunities but weren't able to tie up in the first half.

At the half we discussed where we were physically, emotionally and mentally. Every player on our squad knew that they were going to have to dig deep. Again, we had quite a few opportunities, and a few bounces that didn't go our way, but we persisted.

In the 71st minute we got a corner, we pushed up the attack, and got three solid hits on the ball. The last being the tying goal by Brooke Lobban.

At the buzzer we knew it was OT and it would be as long or short as our desire. Both teams had opportunities, but in the end the tie stood.

Katie Slear, one of our center midfielder played really strong for us in the match. We also saw some good play from Mikel Lancit, Kylie Gaul and Skye Kramer.

The girls dug deep today, and they emptied their tanks, to get the point.
