Plymouth Whitemarsh Comments
I really want to commend our team on their effort tonight. We took a 0-0 score into halftime and I couldn’t have been more proud of that. We were under-manned again and we, as a team, defended with 100% focus and commitment for 40 minutes. We couldn’t sustain that sort of pressure for 80 minutes, unfortunately. Abington is a terrific team who deserved to win. I wish them the best of luck in the playoffs.

But, on our Senior Night, honoring four outstanding seniors who represent PW Soccer and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School the way it should be represented…I am so proud of our team for their performance.

Thank you to Kaitlyn Flanagan, Fiona Gooneratne, Sophia Kosvitch, and Liberty Daddona for their four years of total commitment to our program. They will be sorely, sorely missed by their coaches and teammates.
Abington Comments
The Ghosts faced a much improved and tenacious PW squad. After a scoreless first half, Maura Day broke the ice for Abington. Caroline Hughes and Lanae Wilson-Mattison tallied off corner kicks and Harper McGinley also scored for Abington. PW's Goalkeeper was outstanding and thwarted many Ghosts opportunities.
