PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Phil Picciotti, Pennridge – The junior linebacker was the defensive catalyst in Pennridge’s 24-7 win over Central Bucks East in a key SOL National Conference game, finishing with 14 tackles with one TFL. Picciotti – on the wish list of countless top Division 1 programs – also once again made his presence felt on offense, providing blocking on a key scoring drive.
Coach Cody Muller says: “Phil has been a great leader on defense this season. He’s consistently finding ways to make plays week in and week out. He was all over the field last week, and when we needed him most on offense, he emptied the tank to block for his teammate Brayden Landherr in the final drive.”

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Khalani Eaton, North Penn – The senior running back had 20 carries for 247 yards and two touchdowns in North Penn’s 28-14 win over Central Bucks West in a battle for the top spot in the SOL National Conference. Eaton’s 94-yard touchdown run that saw him shed one would-be tackler after another is highlight reel material. https://twitter.com/i/status/1449468487030738949
Coach Dick Beck says: “That (94-yard) touchdown run was pretty special. From my vantage point, we’re backed up in the end zone, and then he’s running it to the other side of the field. As I watched, I was happy he broke through and was about 15-20 yards down the field. When all the West players were around him, I could tell they were trying to strip the ball. I thought he had fumbled the way they had reacted to it, and then when he broke clean, I couldn’t believe it. I was just happy he got to the endzone. That touchdown put us up 28-8, and with us getting the ball in the second half, it really put us in a great spot. Khalani’s strong, fast, tough. He has it all, and he’s been catching the ball a lot better this year. I think he’s really rounding his game up.”

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tristan Cairnes - The senior captain has been a defensive catalyst for the Flying Cardinals this season, and he was part of nine tackles – five solo - in Upper Dublin’s 10-7 win over Souderton, but it was his interception late in the game that sealed the Indians’ fate.
Coach Bret Stover says: “Tristan is probably our most reliable defender. He’s the quarterback of our defense and is always around the football whether it be a timely sack or a turnover. That’s why we call him the closer. He got one (interception) last week and he got one this week. He just has a nose for the ball. He also had a big sack at the end of the game.”

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alexander Rivera, Bensalem – The Owls’ senior blocked a punt and ran it back 20 yards for a touchdown and a 14-3 Bensalem lead early in the third quarter. Bensalem went on to earn a 33-13 win. Rivera also had three tackles and a pass breakup.
Coach Alex Houston says: “Alex is just everywhere making plays at all levels. He has great energy, he has a great attitude, and he’s a player. He’s a leader for us. He has a knack for coming up with big plays. He’s been doing it all season, and we hope it continues.”
Sterling Limo SOL Honor Roll
Kyree Butler, Upper Dublin – The junior defensive tackle had nine tackles – five solo – in Upper Dublin’s 10-7 win over Souderton.
Ben Cooney, Springfield Township – The senior quarterback accounted for 234 yards of total offense in Springfield Township’s 28-21 loss to Upper Moreland. Cooney completed 9-of-15 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 55 yards and a TD.
Sean Curry, Pennridge – The senior placekicker had a 32-yard field goal that gave the Rams a 10-7 lead on their way to a 24-7 win over Central Bucks East. Curry was also 3-for-3 on PATs.
Joshua Grady, Cheltenham – The junior kicker was 5-for-5 on PATs and also averaged 45.5 yards on four punts – two inside the 20 - in Cheltenham’s 35-20 win over Wissahickon.
Byron Hopkins, Upper Moreland – The senior quarterback threw for just 41 yards but had 11 carries for 131 yards and two touchdowns in Upper Moreland’s 28-21 win over Springfield Township.
Cam Jackson, Upper Moreland – The senior running back had 19 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns in Upper Moreland’s 28-21 win over Springfield Township.
Tyzeem Kinney, Cheltenham – The senior running back/strong safety had an impact on both sides of the football in Cheltenham’s 35-20 win over Wissahickon. He had nine carries for 63 yards, and his 25-yard touchdown run gave the Panthers a 21-14 lead. He had a pick six on defense that upped Cheltenham’s lead to 28-14.
Brayden Landherr, Pennridge – The senior running back led the offense with nine carries for 137 yards and a touchdown in Pennridge’s 24-7 win over Central Bucks East.
Zahmir Lee, Abington – The senior running back took over the second half of Abington’s 31-21 win over Neshaminy. Lee set up his five-yard touchdown run with a 50-yard run. He also had a 22-yard touchdown run to seal the Redskins’ fate.
Cole Maholtz, Central Bucks South – The senior running back led the offense with 24 carries for 179 yards and three touchdowns in Central Bucks South’s 28-14 win over Pennsbury.
Galamama Mulbah, Pennsbury – The junior running back had 16 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown in Pennsbury’s 28-14 loss to Central Bucks South.
Harry S Truman Offensive Line – The offensive line paved the way in Harry S Truman’s 21-7 win over Council Rock North that saw the Tigers accumulate over 300 yards of total offense, 258 on the ground.
Nick Rodriguez, Upper Dublin – The senior linebacker had nine total tackles, including a sack, in Upper Dublin’s 10-7 win over Souderton.
Amir Rose, North Penn – The senior defensive tackle had a monster game in North Penn’s 28-14 win over Central Bucks West, finishing with 12 tackles – four tackles for a loss.
Timothy Slayton, Harry S Truman – The junior safety had a pair of interceptions, including a pick six, in Harry S Truman’s 21-7 win over Council Rock North.
Mike Slowe, Cheltenham – The senior defensive end anchored the defense, finishing with a team-high 12 tackles in Cheltenham’s 35-20 win over Wissahickon.
Kamden Wyatt, Cheltenham – The Panthers’ senior had 10 carries for 54 yards and also returned a punt 17 yards in Cheltenham’s 35-20 win over Wissahickon.
