Ronan Harding (Josh Nikolevski) scored after 11 seconds, Downingtown's 1st touch was the goalie taking out of the back of his net.
They tied it 5 minutes later and took the lead at 20mins left.
Cooper Walters (Frankie Rafferty) tied it 4 mins before the half after a keeper mistake (he dropped the ball).
It was a very fast paced opening half and I think we struggled early on with the big field.
Downingtown knock it around well, have a couple of very good ball handlers and are dangerous coming forward.
We talked about the big field, made some adjustments to keep our shape and our lines tight, and were more in it to start the 2nd half.
We scored the winner (Stepan Kovalev from Josh Nikolevski) with 18 minutes left off of a corner. It was a frantic finish, but we worked our tails off tonight and kept our composure to see the game out.
I'm immensely proud of the boys tonight, they epitomize what a "team" should be.
Their work ethic, togetherness, heart, and willingness to sacrifice for one another got the win tonight.

The defense (Burenga, Lenoir, and the Cohen Brothers) were tested by a very potent West offense and deserve every bit of the man-of-the-match award for this one.
