Strengths: Each player has shown dedication to improving their skills and at the same time understanding the nuances needed to execute offense.
Question Marks: The individual and team concepts needed for defense have not shown themselves in practices and scrimmage games thus far. Coaches and players need to become better in this area.
Outlook: “As players and coaches grow more comfortable with each other, we expect to be a more consistent team come late January. The players are starting to understand their roles, but we need to be more consistent rebounding at both ends of the court. We are hopeful players such as Lindsay Little, Jess Purdy and Anna Soska solidify spots in the rotation.”
