The Wissahickon girls soccer team defeated Upper Moreland at Wissahickon Tuesday night 2-0. Sophomore keeper Rachel Stone recorded the shutout. Maureen Beichert scored midway through the first half off a direct kick giving the Trojans a 1-0 lead at the half. At the five minute mark in the second half Alex Schaefer found Laura Frankenfield who scored the game’s second goal giving the Trojans the 2-0 victory. Rebecca Matour, Jackie Carradorini, and Ava Esposito played outstanding defense for Wissahickon.
