NESHAMINY BOYS’ LACROSSE PREVIEW
Head Coach: John Donato (4th year)
Assistant coaches: Austin Marshall and Cory Redmond
Last year’s record: 3-15 overall
Notable losses: Will miss last year’s team leaders Bobby Blum (Georgia Tech) and Kieran Meehan
Key returners: A core group of experienced seniors will lead the team; Tim Trapp, Logan Hood, Logan Backhaus, and Colin Heltzel on defense. Ayden Demi (SOL National All-League HM), and Ethan Roney are adept on both sides of the midfield stripe, and Patrick Courtney is key to the attack’s success. Goalie Ryan Rickards (Kings College commit) is poised to have a strong year between the pipes.
Others to watch: Juniors Lucas Maher and Liam Ames bring skill and experience to the attack, while junior Jared Edmister adds athleticism to the midfield. Junior defender/LSM Evan Fitch has potential to be an impact player on the defensive half. Sophomores Jack McVey, Colin Demi, and Cory Hemberger continue to develop and should be significant contributors on the offensive end.
Strengths/Question Marks: Senior leadership and experience/Team depth
Outlook: “The Team will strive to have a winning record and to compete at a consistently high-level against keenly skilled SOL National rivals.”
