New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-2 victory over Lower Moreland on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions batting in the bottom of the fifth when Ethan Jarosiewicz induced Matt Jermyn to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.

New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions.

Josh Shiller got the win for New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions. The righthander went seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out six. "Josh pitched ahead today and his fastball had some good late movement. He recorded 11outs in 3 pitches or less. It was an impressive pitching duel between Shiller and Jarosiewicz and both hurlers were helped with some defensive gems.

Jarosiewicz took the loss for Lower Moreland. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out eight.

Matt Spadavecchia, Matt Rickert, Shiller, Kyle Campbell, and Nate Wiseman all had one hit to lead New Hope-Solebury Varsity Lions.

Lower Moreland tallied five hits in the game. Matt Dymowski and Xavier Gonzales each managed multiple hits for Lower Moreland.
