NESHAMINY 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-16)
The Redskins remained perfect on the season, rolling to a 3-0 win over the visiting Golden Hawks in a contest that saw everyone contribute.
Brandon Sloskey (7 kills, 3 digs, 4 blocks, 1 ace) and John Nice (7 kills, 1 block, 2 digs, 1 ace) led a balanced attack. Liam Smith (11 assists, 1 ace), Jake Giiuliana (7 assists, 1 ace, 1 block) and Josh Adler (5 assists, 1 ace, 1 kill) shared setting duties.
Also contributing for the Redskins were Ben Clendening (2 kills), Josh Clendening (1 dig, 1 block), Michael Sooby (1 ace, 4 digs), Beknazar Baiyshbekov (1 ace, 2 kills, 5 digs, 1 block), Aiden Hastings (2 aces, 4 kills, 3 digs), Jackson Young (2 kills), Toby Kovaschetz (2 digs) and Joey LaBella (3 digs).
Neshaminy (7-0, 5-0 SOL) will travel to Cheltenham on Tuesday, and Council Rock South (1-7, 1-5) will travel to Council Rock North on Tuesday.
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, ABINGTON 0
The Panthers continued their winning ways with a sweep of the visiting Ghosts.
Setter Paul Nedeoglo had 29 assists, two aces and three digs. Jay Layer led a balanced attack with 12 kills to go along with two aces, six digs and two blocks. Joe Vasilevskiy added nine kills, 12 digs and one ace, and Jack Steilen contributed seven kills, two aces and two blocks. Cody Keeny had five digs, Connor Fleming added two kills and Connor Tucholski had two kills and one block.
For the Ghosts, setter Colin Mulvihill had 25 assists and four digs. Xavier Voit led the attack with 11 kills to go along with one ace, one dig and two blocks. Ben Holler had seven kills, one ace and 11 digs, and Miles Winegrad added six kills and 15 digs. Dominic DaSilva had six digs, one block and one ace. Jake Kosik's 26 digs led the defense. He also had one ace. Pat McBride had 12 digs. Michael Lyou finished with three kills and one assist and Shaun Bustin had one dig.
William Tennent (6-1, 5-1 SOL) is off until Tuesday, April 19, when the Panthers will host Bensalem.
Non-league
UPPER DUBLIN 3, LA SALLE 0
The Flying Cardinals – led by the 16-kill, 12-dig effort of David Levin – earned a sweep of the visiting Explorers. Levin also had one ace and one block. Benjamin Dorsey also had a big game, contributing to both the attack and defense, finishing with 11 kills and a team high 17 digs and six aces. Setter Cole Brown had 36 assists, 10 digs and one kill. Terrell Turner added seven kills, 15 digs, one ace and one block. Also contributing were Ari Weiner (4 kills, 2 assists, 8 digs) and Tyler Pohl (2 kills, 2 blocks).
Upper Dublin (6-2, 5-0 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Tuesday.
