Assistant coaches: Eric Glemser (1st Year at CBE), Jenna Cooper (3rd Year at CBE), Ashley Thompson (1st Year at CBE)
Last year’s record: 21-7 (14-0 SOL Continental), SOL Continental Conference Champions (5th Consecutive Title), District 1 Quarterfinalist (8th Place), 1st Rd PIAA State Playoff Appearance Lost to Archbishop Carroll, St. Finalist (11th appearance in last 12 years)
Notable losses: Melissa Remmey (Forward, Wake Forest-Not Playing) and Courtney McManus (Guard, Salisbury University)
Key returners: Lindsey Kelly (SR-Forward), Shannon Devlin (SR-Guard), Karoline White (SO-Guard)
Others to watch: Lexi Scrivano (SR-Forward), Margaret Anne Hubbell (SO- Forward), Courtney Webster (SO-Forward), Morgan Kelly (JR-Guard)
Strengths/Question Marks: We are going to look to capitalize on our height advantages over other teams as well as experience since we have our first six players having seen significant playing time last year.
Outlook: As always, we hope to compete for another SOL Continental Conference Championship, make a deep run in the District Playoffs and State Playoffs, although this year will be the most competitive the conference has been in the last few years. We have a nice blend of experience and youth and hope to continue the tradition of success, hard work, and tough defense that has been the trademark of CB East girls basketball over the last 15 years.
