TEAM NOTE:
Upper Merion returns five players that started at least 12 games from last year’s team, including the entire backcourt that started every game last season. In addition to being named All-Suburban I American Conference basketball players, Cassidy Koenig is a two time All-State volleyball player and Kristina O’Sullivan has given her verbal commitment to play soccer at the United States Air Force Academy. If the Lady Vikings are to continue to be competitive and build on last season’s successes, the team will need to rely on the experience of the returning players that have over 150 career starts.
OUTLOOK:
Upper Merion hopes to once again be competitive in the American One conference. The team would like to build on last year’s record and work to return to the AAA district play-offs (lost to Nazareth Academy district quarter finals).
