ABINGTON GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach: Dan Marsh 15th year at Abington

Assistant coaches: Jerry Frasca, Kathy Razler, Lauren Clark and Gabby Nolan

Last year’s record:  26-5 overall, 13-1 SOL.  American Conf. Champs, SOL Champs lost in State quarterfinals. 6 straight 20 win seasons and 6 straight PIAA playoff appearances

  2. Cam Lexow playing soccer at UVA
  3. Miranda Leibtag playing at Cabrini
  4. Tamia Wessles playing at Gwynedd Mercy

Strengths: High energy team with some individual talent

Question Marks: Youth/Inexperience

Outlook:  “The super young Lady Ghosts will look to compete all year long and be ready to roll come playoff time. The Ghosts are looking at a starting line up of two freshman, two sophomores and one junior. We have lots to learn in a tough conference and non-conference schedule. But this group works hard and is looking to keep up the Ghost tradition as being tough to beat in February.”
