Key returners: Avery Nyekan(Sr., Guard), Nick Mulvey (Sr., Guard) ; Neel Patel, (Sr. Guard); Brandon Vaughn, (Jr. Guard)
Others to watch: Kevin Wade (Sr. Forward)
Outlook: The 2014-15 Bensalem Owls basketball team is looking to rebound from a down year. With only four returning players from last year’s roster, the Owls are looking at a similar situation going into this season as last season. There is uncertainty of how quickly the team will gel together, who will emerge as their go to player and who will be the best defender. Coach Mullin is confident that this group of players will improve as the season goes on. As with any team that is put together, it will take a few games to get everyone on the same page. There is senior leadership on this team. Avery Nyekan is a senior and the only starter returning from last year’s team. The Owls look to get clutch shooting from Neel Patel and Nick Mulvey. Kevin Wade returned to Bensalem this year, which is a nice boost with everything that he brings to the table. Juniors Brandon Vaughn and BJ Jones will help out at the guard position while Keith Howard and Anthony Green will battle in the paint.
