Strengths/Question Marks: We have a strong group of returning players who have good ball control. Our passing should be good. We are lacking size, and the loss of Jr./MH Steve Caucci with a season-ending knee injury really hurts. If we are able to block well, our passing should be top notch.
Outlook: With a very good core group of returning players, our goal is to continue to improve as a program. Last year was the first time our team made districts in a long time, and we working to get back this year and advance deeper than last season. Three of our players, all juniors this year, were honored with postseason recognition last year, including Nick Bennett (Middle Hitter), Kyle Dolf (Setter), and Mike Donovan (Libero). These three are solid leaders and along with senior Anthony Cupo, should provide a stabilizing influence to our team.
