CENTRAL BUCKS EAST GIRLS LACROSSE PREVIEW

Coach:  Megan Macauley -7 total as head coach (4^th consecutive year; previously coached 3 years during 2003-2005 seasons and 3 years as JV coach)

Assistant coaches: Shannon MacPherson and Jaclyn Pitt

Last year’s record:  Overall:  7-11; League: 3-10

Notable losses:  We lost Carolyn Remmey, Jamie Burns, Carrie Gillen on attack and midfield. On defense we lost Kady Warsavage (playing at Skidmore), Mara Scaliti, Megan Starner, and Meghan Cornell. Almost all are playing club in college.

Outlook:  According to Sam Axenroth, co-captain with Lauren Wick and Madeline Steuber), one of our team goals this year is to “raise the level of intensity” no matter which team we are playing against or what the scoreboard reads; “we need to visualize the big picture.”  This team has heart. They have the determination, commitment, and the will to persevere.
