Strengths/Question Marks:  The Titans have a mix of experienced seniors, who are confident in their abilities and are ready to leave their mark, and talented underclassmen, who are looking to break through and contribute right away at the varsity level.  The depth of the pitching staff is definitely a bright spot that we expect to be a key piece in the success of this year’s team.  Key infield positions are up for grabs.

Outlook:  “The Titans look to again compete for a top spot in a very competitive division in SOL and earn a playoff bid in District One.  Senior pitchers Robby Porco, Justin Marraccini, Scott Lavin, and Joe Rooney will be called upon to provide stability to a pitching staff that will also see juniors Logan Hinds, Jack Carver, and Owen Wheeler compete for meaningful innings in the dog days of the SOL schedule.  Senior and three-year starter catcher Eric Demico will again be the maestro behind the plate.  Offensively, the Titans return first team all-league outfielder and slugger JT Anderosky, outfielder Matt Boyce, and infielder Colin Mitchell who all played roles in the success of the 2021 team.  With strong senior leadership and several juniors looking to make names for themselves, the ceiling is high for this group.  “Our kids are very motivated, focused, and committed to each other.  We have seen great improvement both physically and mentally up and down the roster. There is a lot to be encouraged about with this group of young men.  Plenty of questions will need to be answered early for this team, but we believe we have a recipe for success.”
