CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH BOYS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW
Coach: Jason Campbell (12th season)
Assistant coaches: Louie Ditri, Josh Williams, Mike Razler, Brandon Gordon
Last year’s record: 12-11 overall, 8-6 SOL
Notable losses: Sean Gallagher – 3rd Team All-Continental; Josh Brodie – Honorable Mention All-Continental; David Drea, and Bryan Meyers
Key returners: Chris Hones, Sr., C; Tim Waddington, Sr., F; Alex Karras, Jr., G; Tom Doyle, Sr., G; Ian Vogt, Sr., F/C; Ryan Joerger, Sr., G/F.
Others to watch: Sam Al-Asha, Sr., C; Nate Johnston, Jr., F; Danny Tecce, Jr., G; Nate Robinson, So., G.
Strengths: Titans return five seniors who contributed to last year’s playoff team. Senior leadership and experience, balanced offensive attack, and playing tough defense with strong rebounding are strengths of the Titans.
Question marks: The Titans have prepared themselves in the offseason to meet the challenges of the Continental Conference and the expectations of their head coach. Staying patient, being consistent, and prepared to play every game is a must with the Continental being strong and competitive from top to bottom.
Outlook: “The Titans will look to compete in the Continental Conference under the leadership and experience of the senior class (Waddington, Hones, Doyle, Vogt, Joerger, and Al-Asha) and rely on starter Alex Karras to steer the team against quality opponents every night. We are looking to be an aggressive defensive team and provide a balanced offensive attack that is going to carry the traditions and expectations of prior CB South teams by playing hard, smart and unselfish team play.”
