CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH BOYS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Jason Campbell (18th season)

Assistant coaches:  Louie Ditri, Mike Razler, Matt Timmins, Paul Prezelski

Last year’s record:  6-4 in Continental Conference (2nd place), 9-7 overall.  17th seed in district playoffs.

Notable losses: Evan D’Orazio; Owen Petrich; Nate Macalindong

Key returners: Michael Farley, Sr., F/C (2nd Team All-Continental 2020 and 2nd Team All-Colonial 2021); Tyler Meinel, Jr., F (1st Team All-Colonial 2021); Jay Macalindong, Sr., G; Aidan Van Zanten, Sr., F; Bryan Delara, Sr., G; Joe Rooney, Sr., F

Others to watch: Jesse Rotunno, Sr., G/F; Chris Granito, Jr., G; Sean Rieber, Jr. F

Strengths:  Experienced upper classmen who set team goals above any individual goals.  A group of young men who compete against each other every day to prepare for the rigorous schedule of the Suburban One League.

Questions Marks:   Staying consistent in all aspects of the game to compete in the Colonial Division that is strong from top to bottom.

Outlook: “The Titans are looking forward to playing a full schedule, competing for a conference and district championship, along with returning to the state tournament.”
