Expectations for the 2014 season:
- better record than last year
- higher placement at Districts
- more experienced team
- qualify at least one for states
Outlook: “We are excited to have Matt Scarpill back in his sophomore season. His raw talent helped him succeed last year, and he spent last year learning how to run a strategic race. He will definitely be using all the knowledge of running that he gained last year to help him make a huge jump this year. He will be leading our pack, and we have high hopes that he will make it to states. Veteran senior Jack Marquis will be backing him up in the #2 spot, and second year runner Colin Mulloy shows great promise for this season - he also comes off a great freshman season in which he made a lot of progress. The wild card will be first year (but SENIOR) runner Nick Radziul. He is a swimmer and triathlete who decided to give XC a try and is showing a lot of potential. Senior Danny Yarnall rounds out the pack with his experience.”
