CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW

Coach: Matt Ehlers (5^th season)

Assistant coaches: Matthew Ehlers Jr. (4^th season), Dawn Ehlers (4^th season), Melinda Routh (1^st season)

Last year’s record: 5-13

Notable losses: Mason Zeo, Jonathan Zonshein

Key returners: Ricky Cho, Aidan O’Brien, Andrew Rubas, Brandon Wisniewski, and Connor Wisniewski

Others to watch: Robert Coleman, Killian Fabiszewski, and Garrett MacClay

Strengths/Question Marks: This years Titan team was returning all but 2 players from last year’s squad that was just a couple of five-set losses away from being in playoff consideration so confidence with the players was high. The biggest question mark was with a small group staying healthy and how to coordinate players missing time due to other school functions they’re involved with.

Outlook: “This season five of our eight varsity players were seniors that have worked very hard for the past several seasons to get where we are as a team. This season is the most consistent and experienced team that South has had in many years, and I was really excited for the boys to see the results and how far they’ve come from where we started. One of our seniors, Aidan O’Brien, will be continuing his playing journey at Stevenson University next season.”
