Notable losses: Lost four key players that were honored with all-league and or all-state honors.
Key returners: All league Honors: Amber Steigerwalt, Mackenzie Harding (All-State) and Meg Hamilton
“To be very honest, although we have had several players receive honors from the league and the state, we focus on the contributions of the team. We don’t reference these types of accolades as they end up being a distraction from team play. The strength of our team lies in our chemistry and our passion to play.”
Outlook: “The program is looking to fill positions lost to graduating seniors with some up and coming student athletes. We are looking to focus on playing towards our strengths and strengthening areas we are working on. Each day we strive to build athletes that see the field well and make good decisions. These decisions are based off individual creativity within a team structure.”
