CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Beth Mattern (17th Season)

Assistant coaches:  Gary Christian, Patrick Chapman, Lauren Crim, and Emily Halloran

Last year’s record: 8-14 overall (3-13 SOL)

Notable losses:  None

Key returners:  Yordana Samayoa (12/G), Casey Balkir (12/G), Juliana Tropea (10/G), Ella Wheeler (11/G), Mia Klein (11/F/G).

Others to watch:  Gabriella Tropea (10/F), Megan Schmidt (11/G), Anna Granito (10/G)

Strengths:  We are excited to return our starting line- up from last season.  There has been a lot of work put in to build our overall skill and our team chemistry has made the gym a really fun place to be this preseason.

Outlook:  “Our goal is to be better each time we step on the court, to compete within in the league, and to have fun while competing.”
