CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH SOFTBALL PREVIEW

Coach: Dan Hayes (1st year)

Assistant coaches:  Vic Volpe      

Last year’s record: 10-4 SOL, 13-6 overall

Notable losses:  Fran Carrullo playing at St. John’s

Key returners:  Haileigh Stocks, Sr., Pitcher, will attend and play at Robert Morris; Lauren Klepchick, Sr., Catcher, will attend and play at University of Rhode Island; Morgan Decker, Sr., 3B, will attend and play at Lehigh, Michelle Gessner, Sr., will attend and play at DeSales,  Jae Epstein, Sr., CF; Carly Dudek, Jr., LF,

Others to watch:  Hallie Bilker, Jr., OF; Ally Horvath, Jr., OF; Alyssa Virginio, Sr., 2B Alli Waddington, Sr., 1B; Kristyn Marinelli, Jr., Pitcher/1B

Strengths/Question Marks:  Experienced group, 3 D-1 players. Still have a couple spots to settle.

Outlook:  Haven’t set any goals yet. We are trying to get a little better each day

GAMES TO WATCH:  I guess the Hatboro games will be interesting - two pretty good teams 10 minutes away from each other and all the girls know each other from travel ball. I don’t think there will be any surprises. But our league is so competitive, you can’t concentrate on just one other team. North Penn is always tough and Souderton and Pennridge should be very good.
