Outlook: CB South is a young, talented team with four seniors, six juniors, 11 sophomores, four freshmen, currently on our 25-man roster. Our program is growing in the coaching staff’s third year at CB South (#18-Yr.1, #18-Yr.2, #25-Yr.3), with many returning wrestlers, and a growing middle-school program with 35-plus seventh and eighth grade wrestlers in the stables. The team had an extremely productive offseason, training and competing together at VA Beach National Duals, Bronco Duals at Rider University, Kutztown University Team Camp, Hosted an International World Team Clinic in November featuring Jordan Oliver, Nestor Taffur, and Mitch Finesilver, etc. We expect to have a lot of fun this season, now that things appear to be returning to normal, post-COVID era.”

Biggest match of the season:

League – CB East (they have a team full of upperclassmen. It will be nice to see how our young group of CBS wrestlers handle a league match against a line-up of majority of seniors). Also, North Penn. North Penn and CB East are the only two teams we still haven’t beaten in our league since my coaching staff and I arrived at CBS.

Interleague – At the Rock Yard Duals this year, CBS has the potential to wrestle three of the top teams in D1: OJR, Spring-Ford, and Downingtown West. I, and my coaching staff, are anxious to see how this young CBS group matches up against some of the tougher teams in the area. Competing at the Rock Yard will be a ‘good measuring stick’ for our team this year.
