CENTRAL BUCKS WEST BOYS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Adam Sherman (22nd season)

Assistant coaches:  Sherrod Higginbotham, Chris Blair, John Duke

Last year’s record:  6-16 overall

Notable losses:  We graduated 6 seniors from last years’ team.  We will be looking to replace starters John Lee and Donte Mancini.

Key returners:   Charlie Cashman (Sr.  Guard), Michael Fountain (Sr. Forward), Matt Engle (Jr. Guard), Bowen Gugger (Jr. Forward)

Others to watch:  Julian Phillips(Jr. Guard), Colin McKenna(Sr. Guard), Max McGlone(Sr. Guard), Jackson Wisniowski(Jr. Guard), Trey Reed(Sr. Forward), Sam Jankowski (Jr. Forward), Max Slaymaker(Sr. Forward), Aidan Kimberly(Jr. Guard)

Strengths/Question Marks:  This year’s team looks more like a traditional West team.  Our ball handling and guard skills should be our strength.  We are hoping that we will be able to stay healthy this season, so that we can reach our full potential.

Outlook:  “This team is excited about the upcoming season.  They have worked extremely hard this offseason.  We have seen significant improvement both individually and as a team.  We are hoping to be playing some important basketball games in February.”
