CENTRAL BUCKS WEST FIELD HOCKEY PREVIEW

Coach: Courtney Lepping (4^th)

Assistant coaches: Debi Mason, Haley Donohoe, Becca Chylack, Jamie Schlotterer

Last year’s record: 20-3 (14-0 continental league) went on 20-0 run , 6^th place District 1, lost first round of States

Notable losses: Anna Hall-(Ursinus), Emily Halderson-(Fairfield), Arianna Wexler- (Fairleigh Dickinson)

Key returners: First Team All League- Bryn Boylan (12^th/Mid), Cadera Smith (12^th/F), Taylor Mason (11^th/F), Third Team All League- Ryan Murray (12^th/F), Honorable Mention- Casey Reichwein (10^th/D)

Others to watch: Eva Altadonna (11^th/F), Abby Gilvary (12^th/D), Laura Kubit (11^th/GK), Peyton Fischer (11^th/GK)

Strengths/Question Marks: “We return the core of last year’s SOL Continental championship team. We lost important leadership to graduation, so the question is whether this year’s seniors are ready to be the voice of the team and accomplish the goals we’ve set forth from the beginning.”

Outlook: “This team is looking for it all but understands they need to take it one game at a time. We’ve scheduled some tough competition to start the season that will help us get an idea of where we are at and what we need to work on. Boylan, Smith and Mason have the chance to be one of the greatest scoring trios our program has ever seen. It will be exciting to see how they react to the pressure and attention they will receive from other teams.”
