Key returners: All nine starters are back from last year’s team. They are Sienna Lawson (Sr-P), Ava Mattes (Sr-C), Laila Murray (Jr-1B/P), Taylor Hooven (Jr-2B), Chloe Dryden (Sr-SS), Julia Thomas (Sr-3B), Avery Rubenstein (Jr-OF), Molly Gibson (Sr-CF), Ana Glemser (Jr-OF/P).
Others to watch: Jill Boyle (Jr-OF), Emily Gerstein (Sr-1B), Carmela D’Amore (Sr-2B), Katherine James (So-P/SS), El Cooper (So-2B/SS).
Strengths: Nine returning starters, Sienna Lawson two-year starter on the mound with 306 career strikeouts, a solid team defensively, four returning All-League starters (Dryden, Lawson, Gibson, and Thomas)
Outlook: “We expect to have another great year out of our returning pitcher Sienna Lawson. Sienna Lawson, Chloe Dryden, Julia Thomas, and Molly Gibson are all returning All-League players. With nine returning starters we expect solid production throughout our entire lineup. One of our team goals is to continue to get great pitching and play sound defense. Our other team goal is to cut down on our strikeouts and to put the ball in play offensively on a more consistent basis.”
