CENTRAL BUCKS WEST SOFTBALL PREVIEW

Last year’s record:  2-17 overall, 0-14 SOL

Notable losses:  Amanda Wolfgang OF, Angelina Refice OF (LaSalle University)

Key returners:  Abby Morrison (11/SS), Cara Hatzinger (10/3B)

Others to watch:  Emma Dryden (10/OF), Taylor Levant (10/OF)

Strengths/Question Marks:  Excellent core of young players will have growing pains in the Continental Conference.

Outlook:  “CB West’s roster is now completely overhauled since Jim Taylor and his staff came on the scene.  The team lost a lot of senior leadership with double digit seniors graduating, but the staff is excited for the opportunity for many talented underclassmen to finally get an opportunity.  Of course, it is always tough sledding in the Continental Conference, and with the youth on the field, there will be some “rookie” mistakes early on, but the staff expects continued improvement throughout the season and in the seasons to come.”
