COUNCIL ROCK NORTH GIRLS’ LACROSSE PREVIEW

Coach:  Denise Noseworthy -2nd year head coach

Assistant coaches: Marie Crane, Colleen Leh

Last year’s record:  3-14 increased in scoring over past season

Notable losses:  We lost some really strong seniors

Key returners:  Chloe Ondria –Senior- Attack, Sarah Scott- Senior –Defense, Grace Vilet-Junior- Mid, Rebecca Ripkan-Junior – Attack, Morgan McCaffrey –Sophomore-Mid

Others to watch:  Jill Hopkins-Junior-Mid, Sarah Lewis-Junior-Defense

Strengths:  We have a great core of four players on defense who are playing really well together, our attack is shooting really well.

Outlook:  “Team goal is to go .500.  Would like some players to reach 100 goals.  Morgan McCaffrey is a strong lefty who is super fast and was a high sorer as a freshman and looking to increase her goal count.  Chloe Ondria- committed to WCU – is a strong attack player.  I’m excited to see the team play together. We look good  - hopefully, we will get to play.”
