COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH BOYS’ SOCCER PREVIEW

Coach:  Alan Nicholl 13th season

Assistant coaches: Bob Francis, Sean McLaughlin, Jon Holleran, Chad Czapor

Last year’s record:  SOL national 6th place 5-11-2

Notable losses:  Harry Culleton, Dan Kockott, Drew Meehan, Nick Christadoulou, Kyle Moran

Key returners:  Mark Jurewicz, Jake Shefsky, Sean Doyle

Others to watch:  Kevin Maten (12th), Reid Czapor (10th), Ethan Benedict (10th), Brent Weinstein (11th ) and Dylan Schwartz (11th)

Strengths:  Our weakness last year was our youth and inexperience.  This year it is our strength as we return seven starters.

Outlook:  “As always, we expect to be competitive in the SOL National and make a statement in playoffs.”

GAMES TO WATCH:  Always enjoy playing powerhouse Neshaminy – great squad, well coached.  And, of course, our rivalry with CR North is always a passionate affair.
