Hatboro-Horsham Girls' Golf Preview

HATBORO-HORSHAM GIRLS’ GOLF PREVIEW

Coach:  Glenn Kaiser (3 years)

Assistant coaches:  Mike Fireman & John Hartmaier

Notable losses:  Lisa Falcone

Key returners:  Cassidy Gavaghan (10), Hannah Fireman (11), Cameron Fisher (10)

Others to watch:  Katie Hartmaier (11) & Julia Lyon (11)

Strengths/Question Marks:  Gavaghan and Fireman will look to return to Districts with their sights set on the PIAA State Championships.  Both can go low, and with Fisher and Hartmaier already bolstering the team score (185) at the Lady Hatter Invitational), the Lady Hatters will be a force to reckon with in the PAC 10.  Lack of depth, and still young as a team could pose problems vs. some of the States best teams.

Outlook:  “The Lady Hatters have joined the PAC 10 for Girls Golf only. This is an eight-team league, thus increasing the competition schedule.  The Hatters should be able to compete for a league title in their first year in the league.  Two spots for the PAC 10 teams are up for grabs, the Hatters hope to take one.”
