HATBORO-HORSHAM GIRLS’ GOLF PREVIEW

Head coach:  GLENN KAISER (4th season)

2014 record:  Overall 17-2/PAC 10 13-1

Home course: TALAMORE C.C.

Key losses to graduation: NONE

Key returnees/players to watch:  Cassidy Gavaghan (11) District One 9th place, PAC 10 3rd place, & All-League PAC 10; Hannah Fireman (12) D1 18th place, PAC 10 6th place, 2014 Spring-Ford Invitational Champion, & All-League PAC 10; Cameron Fisher (11), Katie Hartmaier (12), Julia Lyon (12), & Natalie Jadwin (12).

Outlook:  The Lady Hatters look to defend their 2014 PAC 10 title in their second year in the league.  Team depth will be key, as newcomers Hailey Phillips (9) and Laura Marvin (11) will have the Lady Hatters playing with eight players every match.  Team goals include improvement on a sixth place finish at the 2014 PIAA State Team Championships, and the team will look to capture a District and State title in 2015.  Cassidy Gavaghan and Hannah Fireman are shooting for deep postseason runs that would launch them to Heritage Hills in York, PA, to contend for Individual Honors.  Cameron Fisher has worked hard in the offseason to improve her game, and could be one to watch this season.”
